Many companies pay for reviews either directly or indirectly. I can go online and pay some Chinese review farm for hundreds of fake reviews in 5 minutes if I wanted. I could make a google account on every phone I have here for sale and rate my own business 5 stars like some people do.
I don’t do this. It is unethical, against google’s terms of service and can even be illegal in some circumstances.
Instead I put extra time and effort into each and every repair and/or transaction. If you had a good experience please like on facebook, rate on google and/or yelp. It only takes a minute and can really help a small local business like mine compete against the chain and big box stores with a much bigger marketing budget.
