This was a fun one we dont do every day. Hoverboard came in. Battery connector was smoking. It had a short on the right side motor controller board. Traced the problem to two shorted misfits. Replaced those and the others on the board for good measure. Both motors are now working and we are charging up the batteries now. Also got a chance to test out the new hot air station.
